The National Association of Counties (NACo) was created in 1935 when county officials wanted to have a strong voice in the nation's capital. More than six decades later, NACo continues to ensure that the nation's 3066 counties are heard and understood in the White House and the halls of Congress.
International Association of Clerks, Recorders:
The International Association of Clerks, Recorders, Election Officials, and Treasurers (IACREOT) was founded in 1971 by a group of government officials who wanted a professional organization, which would provide a forum for the free exchange of information, resulting in improved standards for serving the public.
Property Records Industry Association (PRIA):
Property Records Industry Association seeks to identify opportunities for the property records industry to work together in solving problems, recognizing opportunities, and developing solutions that will make property records systems more efficient, effective and responsive to the public.
Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization
(MISMO):
The Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization's mission is to develop, promote, and maintain voluntary electronic commerce standards for the mortgage industry.
